Orange Beach

I got to go on vacation to Orange Beach, Alabama with my mom, sister, and grandma. It was awesome. I was so nervous and excited to leave Carson, Sydney, and Evan. We left Sunday night and got there Monday after noon. Boy, that was a long drive. Once we got there, everything was great (until Friday night). We had a cute condo that had a great view from the balcony.

The weather was great. We only had one morning that it rained, and we made the best of it. That morning, we played euchre on our balcony (Erin and I won). The rest of the time, we did nothing but lay out on the beach and talked and read. Nana was the only one that got sunburned, because rest of us wore sunscreen with an SPF of 50 the entire vacation.

Every night that we were there, we went out to eat at different places. The place that had the best food was Moe's. It was BBQ that was delicious! It was relaxing to actually get to sit down and really enjoy getting to eat out.

The last night we were there, Erin, Mom, and I decided to go go-carting. We get our tickets, get in line, and then it was our turn to go. There were three rows of go-carts separated by cement curbs. Mom was walking to the second row and tripped over the first curb. She was trying to get her feet under her and couldn't. So, she fell down. Her face hit (HARD) on the second cement curb. She rolled over and said, "call 911." Erin and I ran to her and she was bleeding out of her nose and mouth a ton. The ambulance came and drove her to the ER. There is nothing that was serious, but I can tell you, I was so scared!
